Do I recommend getting on the scale Saturday morning when you wake up after a night of drinking and eating a drunken slice of pizza? No. But did I do it anyway? Yes.
To my surprise, after eating a lack of calories, working out, and saaaaving calories for drinking & drunk eating – I gained two pounds. Yes – Two whole pounds.
This is why you shouldn’t weigh yourself everyday. You will become obsessed with weighing yourself… and it will be all you talk about… and then people will get mad at you because it is all you talk about… but you can’t stop talking about it because all you want to do is lose 10 pounds… or 15… AHH!!!
So my advice… throw the scale out the window & live life. If you really want to lose weight, you do have to give up drinking (or at least only drink one night a weekend and NOT drunken eat even if everyone else is)… If you’re like me though, you won’t be able to NOT give in to peer pressure and you will find yourself going out both nights of a weekend, and eating a slice of pizza because everyone else is and it smells good and you’re drunk, regardless of the fact you said ALL week you weren’t going to go out all week.
In addition to this, your bank account is dwindling and you keep having to take money from your savings EVEN THOUGH that money is supposed to go towards the deposit for the apartment you are going to sign for very soon.
And you need to get your hair done, desperately, which is another $200 dollars (if not more). And you need more clothes, because you already don’t have enough room for all your clothes as it is – and you CAN’T wear the same thing twice (at least not with the same accessories).
So, like I said, don’t weigh yourself everyday, work out but don’t tell everyone in detail what you did at the gym today, wear the same clothes more than once, stay in once in a while, and eat a saltine or two before you go to bed drunk…. I’m not going to do that – but maybe you can.
