You Know You’re Getting Boring When…

…You feel slightly buzzed after one drink.

…You can’t remember the last time you stayed at a bar until it closed.

…When asked you what you did over the weekend, every week you use the words ‘relax’ and/or ‘nothing’ in your answer.

…You can’t handle going out two weekends in a row, never mind going out two nights in a row.

…Going to bed before 10 seems normal to you… even on a Friday.

…You closet is full of work clothes and lacks (any) going out clothes.

…You are better friends with the couch than any human being.

…You would rather cook and clean than drink and dance.

…When you hear the word ‘party’ you think of family, food, and relaxation… NOT a dark room filled with loud music, neon, and cute outfits.

…When your significant other is busy, you find yourself with no one to hang out with.

…You would rather shop for new kitchen appliances and/or furniture instead of new clothes.

…The thought of marriage and ‘settling down’ doesn’t scare you.

Yes, we’re all guilty of one (or maybe two) of those… but if the vast majority of the above statements make you go ‘yes, that’s me‘ then you really need to slow your roll and have some fun! You’re a 20-something. You’re not old. You should be partaking in youthful events. You’ve got a few years left before you will be forced to become boring. So for now, live it up. Don’t be ‘that boring girl.’
