The Team

Founder/Editor-In-Chief

Samantha Matt is a Boston based twenty something who would rather be living in NYC or LA (sorry I’m not sorry). She loves bottled water, owns way too many clothes, and is openly addicted to teen dramas such as Pretty Little Liars. In 2011, Sam started Forever Twenty Somethings to help her cope with the loss of college life and entrance into the real world. When not writing for and managing FTS, Sam is most likely doing one of two things: 1. working her full-time job (in television) or 2. drinking red bull and vodka (how else is she supposed to stay awake at the bar?). You may also see her on The Huffington Post, ThoughtCatalog, and BroBible. Oh, and you should probably follow her on Twitter at @samanthamatt1… OR @forever20tweets (for it is her tweeting all that nonsense).

Marketing Coordinator

Danielle Jenkins is a 2010 graduate from Ithaca College, where she majored in Integrated Marketing Communications and minored in theme parties. Originally from Upstate New York, Danielle moved to Boston in 2011 for her first “real” job as a copywriter and continues to work in the marketing world today. Follow her on Twitter at @daniellejenkins. Please contact Danielle at daniellejenkins10@gmail.com with any marketing, event or partnership related inquiries.

The Writing Team

Alex(andra) Bimonte is twenty-four years young and still lives at home with the fam in South FL. She graduated in 2012 from Furman University (yes, she has a shirt with the initials F.U. that makes her feel a little badass) where she graduated Cum Laude in Communication Studies and played DI softball. She still wants to relive her college days of competition and now plays on a co-ed slowpitch team where she is the youngest player. When she’s not working on social media for clients (yes she gets paid to hangout on Facebook and tweet) you can find her at the gym, shopping on her iPad, playing with Maxi or binge watching Mad Men and Walking Dead or the Cooking Channel and attempting new recipes. Key word attempting. She would pick Dunkin Donuts’ coffee over Starbucks and is always early to everything by at least ten minutes. Follow her on Twitter @bmoney2790.

Alexandra Engelbert (a self-titled ‘educational gypsy’) is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (after transferring about a million times).  With no desire to pursue a legitimate career, Alex has instead decided to further disappoint her parents by becoming a bartender while attempting to write her version of the Great American Novel. A former contributor for TotalSororityMove.com, a Delta Zeta alum and one time YouTube sensation, Alex currently lives in Providence with her boyfriend, who will more than likely never propose.  You can find her on Twitter (@Alex_Engelbert) or on Linked In.  When she’s not busy drinking boxed wine out of a Crate and Barrel glass, she also updates her blog, yoitsengelbitch.blogspot.com, on occasion.

Andra Skaalrud used to go to Boston University, but has decided not to let that define her. She is currently a “young professional” in the Boston area and pretends to know a lot about computers, but most of the time she feel like this. She is the co-founder of Boston’s preeminent (and only) nacho blog, Nacho Patrol, and has assisted in eating and reviewing over 150 types of nachos. In 2011, she briefly died of a heart attack, and was reincarnated, ironically, as someone who dislikes cheese. In her spare time she plans pub crawls, reminisces about the good times, and jogs at very slow speeds through Somerville. You can find her on TwitterLinkedIn, and Pinterest, but never again on Foursquare.

Brianti is a twenty-something who hails from the Sunshine State. Since it’s almost impossible to escape from Florida, she’s a lifelong resident and UF graduate. (Go Gators!) She’s the first person to know about both celebrity gossip and international affairs news. Brianti loves writing about those things, as well as career advice since she’s had three jobs in the journalism field since she finished college. If you can catch her up on a Tuesday night, she’s live tweeting Pretty Little Liars from @brianti. Other times, she’s sharing photos from her Mary Kay parties on Instagram.

Elaina Donofrio is a Cambridge based twenty something which is incredibly different than being Boston based, thank you very much.  She is a Boston College graduate with a major in Communication, a minor in Studio Art, and a self-proclaimed Doctorate in social media.  Elaina has a mild chocolate addiction and regularly suffers from BSA (beach separation anxiety).  When she’s not enjoying her job at the North End based start-up Dailybreak, you can find her pretending she likes to run, re-reading the Harry Potter series, or plotting how to sneak a kitten into her apartment.  You can follow her on twitter at @elaina_donofrio or check out her photography portfolio at www.pinterest.com/elainad/my-portfolio.

Erin Gilmore is a Boston based smart mouth who lives in suburbia with her kick-ass fiancé. She graduated from Endicott College in 2010 with a degree in Contemporary Journalism. She loves tattoos (sorry Mom), writing, and slush (it’s an addiction people). When she is not working for the man, she is riding on the back of motorcycles, online shopping, and reminiscing about her younger years. A typical week consists of watching too much Bad Girls Club, mentally preparing for a zombie apocalypse, and trying to get a body like Mila Kunis (please insert laughter here). Feel free to follow my life through photos @eringilmo.

Hannah Gettleman is a recent journalism graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At school, she was active in her sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi, a member of the advertising committee for College Fashion Week, and a Public Relations Representative for Rent the Runway on Campus. She also served as a staff reporter at The Daily Illini, where she has covered stories about local businesses and campus organizations and events. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in magazine journalism, public relations, communication, or any combination of the three. When she’s not in school mode, she loves listening to music and catching up on the latest news in fashion and pop culture. She also has a severe weakness for online shopping and chocolate. You can find her on LinkedIn and follow her on Twitter.

Jacki Cone is a radio host, makeup collector & enthusiast and former cheerleader that is currently freezing to death up in Maine. She truly believes she is a mermaid, owns more than 100 lip-glosses, eats way too many bags of gummy bears each week and has a sick obsession with Vanderpump Rules on E! In the summer of 2013, Jacki was hired as a marketing specialist & weekend on air girl at local radio station Hot 104.7. She graduated from University of Southern Maine with a double major in Communication and Media Studies. After being a freelance makeup artist during most of her summers in college Jacki developed an obsession for all things beauty and is frequently found talking to anyone that will listen about the perfect blush for their skin tone. You can follow her on twitter @ItsJackiCone and read her ridiculous tweets about wanting to be a mermaid and how much she loves to sleep.

Karisa is a writer living in Milwaukee who likes to write about all the ridiculous things that are allowed to exist in this world, such as Nickelback and orangutans. She also likes to ridicule celebrities because they’re not just like us after all. Her goals in life are to see someone slip on a banana peel and to get a job that requires her to own a briefcase. Read more from Karisa at Karisa Tells All.

Katie Haller is writer, stand-up comedian, and actress living in NYC. She writes sketch comedy for PITtv, and is a freelance content creator for LA-based social media studio, Fanology Social. She has performed stand-up at Caroline’s On Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, and Helium Comedy Club. She is 4’11, so naturally she spends many of her days standing in for child actors. She also has a rap alter ego who goes by the name of T-Spoon. When she isn’t writing or performing stand-up, she is probably looking at puppy pictures online, or uploading pictures of her poodles to PoodleFrienzy.com. Her favorite Disney princess is Belle. To see her stand-up and sketches, check out her website, KatieHallerComedy.com. If you’re more into fart jokes or jokes about being short, follow her on Twitter @halleratyou.

Lauren Certo is a Los Angeles based east coast girl currently working on the CW TV show, “Arrow,” pursuing her writing career in the entertainment industry.  When she’s not picking up coffee and stressing about the meaning of life, Lauren can be found training for her next marathon, indulging in an expensive green juice, and watching “Boy Meets World” re-runs. Favorite things include: yoga, white wine, and John Stamos’ mullet.  Follow her random LA happenings on Twitter: @runninghwood or Instagram @ellecerts.

Lisl Knizner is a 2011 graduate of Grand Valley State University where she earned a B. A. in Advertising and Public Relations . When she isn’t hunting for a fantastic full time job, she enjoys writing, celebrity trivia, and singing the occasional show tune. You can follow her on Twitter at @LMKnizner.

Liz Witter is a 2011 graduate of St. Bonaventure University where she majored in broadcast journalism with a (useless) minor in French. She is originally from Rochester, NY but moved to Boston to write the morning news. She spends her free time sleeping or going to Sephora and makes Friends references like no other. She’ll take Tim Hortons over Dunkin, and Wegmans over any grocery store. You can follow her on Twitter at @lwitta6.

Rachel P is your average twenty-something living at home in her former childhood bedroom, which then became her younger sister’s childhood bedroom, and is now her 26-year old bedroom because that’s a thing.  She used to work at Disney World and now she doesn’t work at Disney World, and no, she doesn’t really want to talk about it, either. Most of her time is spent looking for a new job but she’d preferably like to be a Bond Girl when she grows up. She’s currently enrolled at the University of Netflix where she’s getting her masters in Binge Watching. Rachel really likes to live tweet TV shows if you’re into that sort of thing at @rachmeetsworld.

Rachel Woolslayer graduated in June 2012 from UC San Diego with a degree in Communications and a minor in Business. After spending a year working as the Marketing Assistant for a trivia company in San Diego, she decided it would be a great idea to quit her job and move to Austin, Texas with her best friend from college. While she will always be a California girl, she has enjoyed embracing the Texas lifestyle, y’all…well, minus the ridiculous heat, and the bugs. Aside from that, she has a wanderlust that won’t quit and is constantly planning her next adventure. In her free time, she enjoys pretending to be friends with her favorite celebrities, getting too emotionally involved in her TV shows, and knowing way too much pop culture. Feel free to see if she has remembered to tweet recently at @Rauncheezy.

Samantha Glassford is a born and raised Jersey Girl with a constant wanderlust bug that she can never afford to feed. She graduated from Georgian Court University in 2012 with a *useful* degree in English and Communications minor. She is currently in pursuit of a Master’s degree in English and has no idea what to do with it. During the rare times that she doesn’t have homework to do or panic-stricken undergraduates to tutor at work, Samantha is usually reading  ridiculous romance novels written for teenagers, talking to her dog, or reading The Great Gatsby for the umpteenth time. She is currently trying to write her own novel, which she fears will become the unachievable American Dream, and train for her first half-marathon. She has an obsession with scarves, running shoes, country music, and cardigans; one can never have enough of any of these things. Her only goal in life is happiness, whatever that means. Follow her on Twitter @SamanthaG2012.
