Just realized I never wrote about this movie.

I wasn’t expecting much when I saw it. I heard it was funny and pretty much the same thing as the first one – and that is exactly what it was. If you are going to see this movie, go in thinking that and you will be pleased with the outcome. It was funny and I am happy that I saw it theaters, but I definitely could have waited until it came out to dvd aka netflix, hbo, and the internet.

The first one was obviously better because no one was expecting it and no one knew what was going to happen. However, in this movie, they lose one of their friends, spend the whole time trying to find him, and then – well, I won’t ruin it for you… but if you’ve seen the first one you probably know. Doesn’t it sound like the same plot?

The jokes and one liners in the movie are funny, but not as classic as the first. And I was confused as to why a missing finger was seen as NBD.  I think they could come out with a Hangover 3, 4, and maybe 5 – who knows. It’s a franchise. And there are so many more situations that could result in a hangover from an epic night out. Our very own weekends consist of picking up the pieces from the night before and trying to figure out what happened. The Hangover gives hope to twenty somethings that the fun (and the hangover) doesn’t end after college.

Perks to the movie: Bradley Cooper is hot as fffff. There is a smoking monkey. And who doesn’t love Ken Jeong?
