Tay Tay is back and just like her age, she is growing… on me.
In a livestream today, Taylor revealed a new single, it’s music video, a new album title, and it’s release date. She couldn’t, like, drop the entire album with videos today too? She isn’t Beyonce? Oh. Anyway…
Tay’s new album, 1989, is dropping October 27th. I want to be excited, but the album title just throws it in my face that Taylor is younger than me, so I can’t. 1988, bitch. WE AIN’T ON OUR PARENT’S HEALTH INSURANCE ANYMO’.
The new single she debuted is called “Shake It Off.” Yes, the same name as Mariah Carey’s song. The video features a gorgeous TSwift shaking it off at the barre (i love barres!), at a tweak-fest (ya heard Miley?), in a Gap commercial (or at least that’s what it looked like!), and some other places. Like, can we talk about how gorgeous she is in that black sweater?!?!? And in the entire video?!?!?! She looks kinda like my girl ASHLEY BENSON. And is she channeling Gaga in that gold getup and wig??? Because I don’t hate it.
