Getting engaged is all fun and games… until you have to plan a wedding. It’s like you go from ‘yay, this is so exciting, I’m on cloud 9’ to ‘oh my god, I am so stressed out, everything is so expensive, I don’t agree with my parents on anything, should we just go to city hall, I don’t have time for this sh*t’ really quickly. It is honestly a whole to-do.

One small part of the gigantic, overwhelming experience is creating a wedding website. You can always chose to opt out but honestly, having a wedding website makes your life easier. There, you can store all the necessary information for your guests, like where to stay, where the wedding is, what time everything is taking place, etc. Yes, people managed to have weddings before wedding websites, but having a place with all of your information saves you the hassle of answering a million questions from your guests. Instead, you can just be like ‘don’t bother me, I’m trying to plan a wedding, go to mywedding.com and leave me alone, k thanks, see you there, so excited!!!!’

Creating a website can seem like a daunting task – especially when your life is inundated with daunting tasks. Luckily there are a lot of services out there that make website creation a breeze, but if you’re a cool social media savvy bride, chances are you want your website to be unique and pretty. You don’t want it to look like everyone else’s wedding websites. You want it to be professional, and you want it to match your ~bridal aesthetic~. I was under the impression that I was going to have to hire someone to create my wedding website. But then I found a service that changed literally everything.

I’ve been using GoDaddy for years for my website, so when I found out GoDaddy had a wedding website builder through GoCentral I was intrigued. Then I started using it and I realized just how easy it was. It’s actually the easiest website builder I’ve ever used, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve done a lot of website building in my day.

Here are some of the perks below. Create your own wedding website with GoDaddy today here!

You can create a beautiful site in literally 10 minutes.

No experience or training necessary. They have the design mapped out for you and include prompts for anything and everything you’d want to feature on the site. See here.

It’s easy to navigate and scroll through, only including the information guests want and need.

There’s no room for over-sharing on their website layouts, which I think is the best part. It’s strictly wedding details, accommodation details, maps, and RSVPs. Let’s get down to business k, the people going to your site are attending your wedding, they didn’t ask to read a novel about the time you went to Aruba and swam with sharks.

You don’t have to click off to anywhere either. It’s all on one site.

You can add extra information, too!

It’s mobile friendly.

This is important. Not all sites are created mobile friendly, but this one is. That’s important because most people going to your site will probably be in the car driving to your wedding wondering where to park. I’m just being honest.

It won’t disrupt wedding planning.

It’s honestly a refreshing 10-minute break from wedding planning. It’s fun and easy, so actually the opposite of wedding planning.

After the wedding, you can use it to post pictures from the event.

It’s a place everyone can go to look at pictures and watch videos from the big day, instead of just stalking the wedding hashtag on Insta.

If you need an easy wedding website builder, use GoDaddy GoCentral. It won’t solve the problem that wedding planning + work + the gym is too much, but it won’t add something to your plate, so that’s a plus!
