Buying gifts for women in their 20s doesn’t have to be hard. Whether they’re in their early 20s or late 20s, single or married, living with their parents or on their own, there are tons of gifts that 20-something women would appreciate. Below are some of my personal favorites. Full of things I own and love (and the most popular gifts our readers have purchased over the years), these are my top gift ideas for women in their 20s for 2022! Happy gifting!
1. Capri Blue Jar Candle – For the one who is getting into home decor

Candles not only smell good, but they can be awesome decor. Capri Blue’s Volcano scented candles are hands down the best smelling candles ever. And they come in THIS packaging (and others). It’s a double win for gift giving. Seriously, I gave on to my mom for her birthday and she was blown away by the smell. I would also recommend the Reed Diffuser. It solves all bathroom problems; a great gift for someone who may have just moved in with their boyfriend (stinky bathrooms? no thx).
2. Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag – For the girl on the go

Yes, we rebranded the fanny pack into a belt bag—and it’s literally the most convenient and useful bag you will ever own. They’re also extremely affordable, which is why they’re so hard to find! If you’re shopping for a 20-something woman, there is no doubt that she would appreciate this gift. Even if she already has one, if you can score her another in a different color, that’s a big win. And if she doesn’t have one, and you get your hands on one of these always-sold-out bags, that’s a major win. I own the large belt bag in black, and I use it as my every day bag. Keep checking the links to see if black and other colors come back in stock, but the fleece black bag is great—and the other colors are great too!
3. Our Place Always Pan – For the one who is bordering recent grad/domestic goddess status

People swear by this pretty little pan!!! It has a legit cult following and has been one of the most popular holiday gifts for the past couple of years. It’s great for literally everything.
4. Abercrombie Half-Zip Sweatshirt – For the trendy yet comfortable one

I own this oversized half-zip sweatshirt from Abercrombie and not only is it cute and trendy, but it’s super comfortable and cozy. It can be worn with leggings and athletic wear, and it can also be worn out and about with jeans (or on Zoom!). I loved it so much, I bought it in a second color. Black and taupe are the two I own, and currently, they’re the only ones available. Abercrombie is back!
5. Madewell Tote Bag – For the business b*tch

The Zip-Top Medium Transport Leather Tote is one of the best gifts for women in their 20s who commute regularly. I own this bag in the English Saddle color, and it’s amazing. It’s, trendy, not TOO expensive (compared to other totes), and it goes with everything. I recommend to all!
6. Monogram Pendant Necklace – For the jewelry lover

This necklace from Anthropologie is super popular. With over 500 reviews and a nearly 5-star rating, it’s one of the most popular items at Anthro, and it’s stylish too! Not only that, but it’s neutral and can go with any outfit. At just under $40, it’s a great gift for literally anyone—a friend, a teen, an adult, a co-worker, a daughter, a niece, the list goes on! And since it’s trendy, it’s great for 20 somethings.
7. Air Fryer – For the busy one who orders takeout a bit too much

I loooove my air fryer. It has totally replaced my oven (well, not completely… but maybe 80% replaced). If I had one of these in the 20s, I would have probably used it 100% of the time. It makes cooking so easy and simple. Also, if the person you’re shopping for tends to drunk eat after a night out, this device would come in very handy. Imagine not having to wait for the oven to preheat before heating up some frozen chicken nuggets and then being able to cook them much faster. Drunk eaters aren’t the only ones who will love this gift though. It’s great for any busy 20-something struggling to find time to cook!
The Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer is great. I personally own the Philips Premium XXL Air Fryer, but it’s a lot more expensive. A great buy if you’re looking to splurge on someone though!!!
8. Lululemon Align Pant – For the one who works out sometimes

I am obsessed with Lululemon’s Align leggings. Like, I’m pretty sure they are the most comfortable leggings in the entire world. They are basically spandex for the soul. And the best part – they LAST. None of my other yogas – expensive or inexpensive – seem to last. Lululemons yoga pants really do though. Side note: If you’re shopping for a short person, the 21″ or 23″ Align pants are the way to go. I’m 5″2 and this is what I wear!
9. Drunk Elephant Drunk Break: Wake-up Haul Day Kit – For the one who keeps complaining about wrinkles

I have used Drunk Elephant skincare products for years. The moisturizer is my go-to along with the vitamin c serum and the newer protini serum. This kit includes all of those things and is truly the best gift for women in their 20s who are developing skincare routines. It’s also a great value at $98 with $162 worth of products!
10. “Average is the New Awesome” – For the one who could use a laugh about adjusting to the real world

“Average is the New Awesome” is a funny and insightful collection of stories, lists, and quizzes that encourage people to be happy about wherever they are in life, no matter how ‘average’ it makes them feel. Perfect for 20-somethings, the book proves that as long as you’re accomplishing stuff, whether it be big or small, you’re doing awesome on the journey to whatever is next. Based on many of the articles I’ve published on this very website over the past nine years, the book is written by yours truly and has received much praise, including being named a book to read in 2020 by Betches, a best self-help book by Parade, and a best personal growth book by Book Riot.
11. Dyson Airwrap – For the high-maintenance one

I know, I know. $599 is a LOT of money for a HAIR PRODUCT, but like their expensive hair dryer, it’s worth it. If you’re looking to splurge on a twenty something for the holidays, this is THE gift to give—if you can get your hands on it that is. It’s currently in stock at Ulta, but it’s sold out at other retailers right now like Sephora. Grab it while you can and make someone’s day in December!
12. Ugg Ultra Minis – For the one living for the 2000s comeback

Ugg boots are back. But rather than the tall ones I used to wear over my jeans in high school lol, what’s especially popular right now are their ultra mini boots. They’re soooo popular right now that most colors are sold out everywhere. They’ll come in and out of stock over the next month and a half though, so be on the lookout. I found a few sizes in the chestnut color (the must-have!!) on Ugg’s website, but you can keep an eye on them at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, DSW, etc.
13. Tiled Margot Monogram Mug – For the coffee lover

Know someone with a Starbucks addiction? Get them a mug that will maybe convince them to make coffee at home and stop spending a million dollars a month ordering coffee on the go. I own this mug and love it, although I still go to Starbucks a decent amount. I do make coffee at home more than before though!
14. Kindle Paperwhite – For the one who likes to read

If she likes to read, she’ll want a new Kindle. New technology! More reading! Yay!
15. Wine Glass Bottle – For the one who drinks a ton of wine

If she drinks the whole bottle once she opens the bottle, get her the wine bottle glass. She’ll loooooooove it.
16. Canada Goose Jacket – For the one trying to survive winter

Canada Goose jackets are warm as fuck and will help you survive the brutal months that are winter. I own the Canada Goose Gabriola jacket (I got it a few years ago, so it’s not sold anymore) and am obsessed. The Canada Goose Shelburne Water Resistant 625 Fill Power Down Parka is the one I’d recommend as a gift this year. Not only will these jackets save your giftee from an insufferable winter, but they’re way more flattering than a large puffer.
17. The Hangover Cookbook – For the home chef who likes to ~party~

But why is hungoevr spelled like that? Idk, this is just amusing to me, so I put it on the list. WHY NOT.
18. Sephora Favorites Perfume Sampler – For the one who likes all the things

The perfume sampler is always a great option for a gift! And this one is mini, so it only costs $28. That’s an under $30 gift!!
19. A vacation – For the one who likes experiences over material things

A night in a hotel, just because. A weekend getaway somewhere you don’t have to fly to (#roadtrip). A long weekend just a short flight away in paradise. A week (or longer) excursion overseas or across the country. Most of the time, experiences are better than material things. A trip or a night away is the most thoughtful gift because you are planning something. Browse TripAdvisor for ideas (I swear by TripAdvisor rankings for hotels and restaurants), and Expedia for prices. A little research and effort never hurt anybody.
20. Gift cards – For the one you legit have no idea what to buy
Screw people who say gift cards are the worst, least thoughtful gift. I LOVE gift cards. I enjoy shopping – and I enjoy picking out my own shit. People KNOW that about me, so they get me gift cards to the places I enjoy so I can continue spending money because I love spending money. If you know someone who enjoys spending money, get them a gift card!
