Happy Valentine’s Day…did you know that Cupid is randomly not all about love? One of his arrows is actually filled with man repellant!

This may make some of you feel better. You were just shot with the wrong arrow NBD.

SO, obviously, today’s Who’s That is….

Cupid

…Because we really need to know more about this dude who symbolizes a random holiday geared towards sex and/or eating that isn’t even named after him.

Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr (Valentinus). Cupid comes into play because in classical mythology Cupid (Cupido in latin, meaning “desire”) is the God of four things that should represent this day that honors St. Valentine: desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. ^^^^Cupid is chubby FYI

But, read more, because Cupid is to blame for why some of us don’t have someone buying us roses today.

Bet you didn’t know Cupid carries two kinds of arrows.

#1. The one we know – gold filled with uncontrollable desire

#2. That other one – led filled with aversion or desire to flee

In contemporary popular culture, Cupid is shown shooting his arrows to inspire romantic love (aka arrow #1 aka a relationship aka not single…..)……

….but in reality single people, Cupid really represents us all!!! #stalker #single #anxiety
